Like I always say, the easiest way to start making money online is not by becoming an influencer overnight or starting an online business. It’s also not by launching a course, creating a digital product, or trying to build a six-figure business from your bedroom. Those usually take time and more experience.

If you truly want to start making money online, the simplest and most realistic way to get started is by landing a remote job.

That would be a job working for a company. You’d have an employer. Like a traditional job… but online.

That’s exactly what I did.

When I got my first full-time remote job over 10 years ago, I had no idea how much it would change my life.

At the time, I was simply excited about working from home and avoiding a commute. What I didn’t realize was that this one decision would completely shift the trajectory of my career.

Because once you start working online, something interesting happens. You begin learning tools, and you get comfortable communicating digitally. You discover opportunities you never knew existed. And most importantly, you start realizing there are countless ways to earn money from your laptop, and that you never again have to commute to an office to make money.

Some of the ideas I’m about to share became long-term businesses. Some lasted only a few months. Some were one-time projects. Some paid a few hundred dollars, while others eventually generated hundreds of thousands. But every single one taught me something.

And more importantly, every single one started because I first landed a remote job.

A remote job is where it all begins, and that’s why I focus on teaching you how to get a remote job — your very first one.

In Case You’re New Here

Hola! I’m Andrea Valeria, a Remote Work Specialist who has been working remotely since 2015. And as you’ll see in this article, I’ve truly done it all — from a traditional remote job to very random gigs that are funny to me now. One thing about me though? I’ll get creative & try all kinds of things, and yupp… I will monetize all kinds of things.

More importantly, in the past decade, I’ve helped thousands of people learn how to find legitimate remote jobs that offer more freedom, better salaries, and the ability to work from anywhere.

I’ve also been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, and BBC, and my mission is simple: to help more people upgrade their lives through remote work.

Here I was back in 2022 hosting a live online video training.

What You’ll Find in This Article

In this guide, I’m sharing 32 real ways I’ve made money online.

For each one, I’ll include:

  • What it was

  • What I did

  • How I got the opportunity

  • How I got paid & in a lot of them how much too

  • Who this could be a great fit for

My goal is not to convince you to do all of these. Not everyone is the same, and the kinds of jobs I do might be very different to the ones you’re good at. But, I’m sure you’ll get an idea or 2 of how you can make money on the internet.

My goal is always to show you everything that’s possible once you start working online.

Before We Get Into It…

If you’re serious about making money online, the most practical place to start is with a remote job— like I mentioned above.

That’s exactly why I created my course, Land Your First Remote Job, where I teach the step-by-step system I’ve used to help people all over the world find legitimate remote jobs.

If you want to see if that course is for you, you can start watching this video training. It’s an intro to the remote job search and to the course itself!
