BTW, I’m Andrea Valeria
I help people land remote jobs and I’ve been doing that since 2019. Before that, I had different remote jobs — starting with my first full-time remote job in HR back in 2015.
Because I’ve always loved creating content (mostly video), you might have found me on TikTok or maybe even Threads (I love writing, too). Ultimately, I’m a big fan of all things social media.
But, I also love sharing my experience as a remote worker (and former digital nomad), what I know and how you can achieve your remote work goals. I do that through different resources like my best-selling program (a course) and different resources I’ll break down below.
Here on Substack, I share lots of actionable tips, my own behind-the-scenes experience and different guides to help you get that remote job you’ve been eyeing.
1. Starting your remote job search from scratch?
This will be for you perfect if you have zero remote experience, and you’re feeling pretty lost on what it takes to actually get a remote job.
Or maybe you’ve tried Googling to figure out what to do, but you’re a bit overwhelmed and feel like you need step-by-step guidance.
So, if you want help following a plan step by step—with video lessons, templates, and in-depth guidance, support & accountability.
‘Land Your First Remote Job’
This is my self-paced course that I designed specifically to help you understand the search. From identifying the skills you already have to how to overcome a lack of experience. You will also learn how to find legit remote jobs, avoid scams and how to make your resume specifically for remote jobs (with video guidance and templates). Basically everything you need to go remote — no matter your experience, age or background.
If you want to learn if that’s the right next step for you, watch this free video training — it’s an intro to the remote job search & also to what I’ll teach you inside the full course.
This course is the foundation. Doing this will save you time, and you will land a remote job faster than people who are out there doing without guidance.
On average, it takes people around 3 months to get a remote job when they follow the steps inside the course.
If you prefer walking through material with a community and daily support, my upcoming 30-day challenge is coming up…
We start Tuesday, October 27th, 2026 & we all begin & complete the assignments together.
I provide daily support inside a group chat, too. This is the only program with this perk!
You can now save your spot in the upcoming 30-day challenge.

What to Do in the Next 90 Days to Get a Remote Job (Exactly What I'd Do)
There’s a lot of noise online about how to land a remote job. Most of it is either super vague, overwhelming, or not realistic.
2. Don’t know how to find legit remote jobs?
If you’re already clear on your skills and what you bring, but what you don’t know is where the good jobs are hiding… this is for you.
That means you’d have learn:
Keywords to search (to find the most flexible remote jobs or that hire worldwide)
The remote job boards & directories I trust
How to identify the companies that offer the best benefits
This is exactly what I teach in this article you can access as a paid subscriber here on Substack.

100 Companies That Hire for Fully Remote Jobs
If you’re looking for a remote job, one of the best things you can do is stop going to the same job boards everyone else is using. I always recommend going directly to companies that are either fully remote, remote first or offer remote jobs.
3. But, where else can you go to legit find remote jobs?
Maybe you want to find the remote jobs right now. You want to go through a list of legit remote jobs.
Well, in 2019, I created a remote job directory. It’s always been free and it gets updated every Friday.
And I always try to find the best opportunities for you… including jobs that offer benefits, perks and pay well. I also try to find the remote job that hire worldwide.
So, you can always take advantage of that and browse through remote open positions.
4. You need a resume to apply?
Like I always say…
“You’re one good resume away from your first remote job.”
And, if your dream job happens to be remote, you need a resume that’s made specifically for remote jobs — highlighting what’s actually relevant to remote work.
That’s why I created the ‘Remotify Your Resume’ formula.
I created this back in 2019 so you can create strong resume geared towards remote job applications… and those are very different from traditional job applications.
So, learn more about my ‘Remotify Your Resume’ formula, so you can start standing out and actually getting interviews.
In this article, I break down how you can remotify your resume with different options to do it yourself, get my specialized service so I can do it for you or use the tool I created so you can make your own remotified resume quickly.
And you don’t need to do everything above to get results.
Just pick the one that suits you best. You can always start with one, and if you need more help, you can always jump to the next one whenever you’re ready.
